With another Easter just around the bend, there seems no better time than the present to have a much-needed—though, heretofore much-neglected—conversation about The Chosen.

Why do you want to go to Heaven? I assume that, when it comes time for you to die, Heaven is the place you want to go to—only a madman, or worse, would desire the alternative. But why do you want to go there?

To feast on the beauty of Jesus, to inquire about His temple and to rest among the folds of His robe, that is what we were made for.
